In honor of National Feral Cat Day,

Feral Cat Caretakers’ Coalition

Is Celebrating our Annual

Virtual Candlelight Fundraiser

WE BELIEVE THAT EVERY CANDLE LIT WILL LIGHTEN THE PATH FOR FERAL
CATS AND FERAL KITTENS AND THEIR CARETAKERS EVERYWHERE!

On October 19th, 2008 Feral Cat Caretakers’ Coalition will be gathering together with friends and donors to “LIGHTEN THE PATH” AND RAISE AWARENESS of the plight of homeless feral cats and kittens and their caretakers everywhere. They will be lighting candles to celebrate and honor the homeless feral ones and those who care for them.

FCCC is inviting all our on-line friends to join in this SPECIAL CELEBRATION!

For a minimum donation of $25.00, a candle will be lit to honor your feral cats and/or a special caretaker. THE MORE CANDLES YOU LIGHT, THE MORE HELP WE CAN GIVE. The need to raise the awareness of the plight of homeless feral cats and their kittens is great. The dedicated caretakers who care for them are loving and responsible people who have taken on a great responsibility.

The lighting of candles will support our many projects dedicated to feral cats and kittens and those who care for them. Essential expenses for spay, neuter, veterinary care, kitten care, medicine, food and shelter are costly, especially when caring for substantial numbers of feral cats living outdoors in ever changing conditions. FCCC’s 6th Feral Cat Caretaking Workshop, concluded in March 2008, was funded by a grant from PetSmart Charities as “Leader of the Pack” to educate and support feral cat caretakers. We graduated 50 Caretakers from our six week workshop!

After your welcome donation, if you would like to send names and/or photos of your feral cats or caretaker, please send them to virtualcandlelight@gmail.com. They will be posted on our “Virtual Candlelight Fundraiser page” by the beginning of November.

By sending in your photos, you are giving us permission to crop, resize and post them on our website along with names. These photos will be posted and listed in alphabetical order.
